Keith Deal

Secretary

A native of Amanda, OH, Keith attended Amanda Clearcreek High School in Pickaway County, OH. At a young age he developed a passion for sports, excelling in basketball. In high school, Keith started all four years of varsity basketball, being only the second person to accomplish this feat at his school. Keith found himself being recruited by several colleges, but his life took an unexpected turn when what started as casual partying, turned into a full fledged drug addiction.

For the next 15 years of his life, Keith would battle this addiction, only finding true freedom once he had an incredible encounter with Jesus. Following this encounter, he entered a discipleship program where he dedicated his life to fully serve Jesus and pursue the call God placed on his life. He began working in ministry as part of an inter-city church planting network where he acted as the founding home director for their Cleveland, Ohio men's recovery hope home where he could use his life experiences to help other men struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.

In 2013, Pastor Keith moved to Tyrone, PA and began his role as the lead pastor of Community Worship Center. In his role at CWC, Pastor Keith has seen God's hand move in a mighty way as the ministry has grown exponentially allowing them to reach hundreds a week and thousands a year with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Along with serving on the board at BTM, he also serves as a board member for Refuge Youth Network and Truth Quest Ministries.

Pastor Keith is passionate to reach people with the love and hope that comes with knowing Jesus. He desires to help to build a stronger community and has created outreaches, such as the Tyrone Carnival and the Jesus Isn't A Secret Shoppe, to bless families in his community. Pastor Keith, his wife Julie, and their two children, Isabelle and Abishai, have lived in Tyrone since 2013.
